"These ink drawings are, for me, a discipline of the creative process. A meditation practice. I clear my mind and bring my attention to a singularity of thought. I imagine a quality to focus on like beauty, gratitude or a particular person. I fill myself up with that feeling and I begin drawing. No plans, no blueprints, only a building of shapes and an occupation of space in black & white. Each drawing becomes a unique recording of my experience at that time."
